Our recent work “Topological Singularity Induced Chiral Kohn Anomaly in a Weyl Semimetal“, by Thanh, Fei, Nina, Ricardo, Anuj et al, is accepted by Phys Rev Lett in its present form. In this work, we theoretically predicted (with quantum field theory), and experimentally observed (with inelastic scattering) a new type of Kohn anomaly in Weyl semimetal TaP. It not only shows that Kohn anomaly – an exotic electron-phonon interaction phenomena and a source for new quantum orderings – can exist in topological material, but also demonstrates electronic topology can also be reflected in phonon spectra. Congratulations to everyone for the hard work and thanks to all our national lab collaborators for the numerous data support!
